- Select the type of field for which you want to change color by clicking on the radio button associated with that type.
- Select either Foreground (text) or Background, depending on what you want to change.
- Select one of the basic colors or create a unique color and add it to the Custom Colors palette.
- To use a basic color or to apply an existing custom color, click the palette selection.
- To create custom colors, click on the color closest to the one you want from the Basic Colors palette. Move the Red, Green, and Blue color bars to create your own custom color. If you know the values for a particular color, enter them in the value fields.
- Color changes are reflected in the sample field.
- When you decide on the color you want to add, click Add to Custom Colors button. Click on one of the blank, custom color boxes under the Custom Colors heading. You will be able to use the newly added color for any object on the screen.
- Follow steps 2 through 4 for every field whose color you want to change.
- Click Reset Defaults to return to default colors.
- Click Apply to apply changes and remain in the Set Screen Colors dialog box, OK to apply changes and exit, or Cancel to exit from the dialog box without saving changes.
Note: There are five boxes available for custom colors. To create a sixth custom color, simply create a new color and write over one of the custom colors previously created. All objects customized with a prior color will remain as they were and will not change unless you decide to change them.
